primer on transom and starboard corner

i love this pic i see so much progress here....Mrs McCorkle
Sanded epoxy with 120 grit on a 5 inch soft pad. I am using Alexseal painting systems for this project. This is 2 coats of grey primer rolled not sprayed.I wanted to see how well the primer covered in order to determine how much fairing needs to be done. Will fair rest of starboard side before any more priming.   I am happy with the coverage and finally getting some satisfaction of some head way.

second coat of fairing starboard side

after sanding starboard side with 80 grit on a 8 inch soft pad i skimmed entire side with microballon epoxy mixture. Ready to be sanded again and hopefully primed. Needless to say my elbows and shoulders are feeling it this week!

More pics coming soon. Mike will be working on her this week so much more will get done. Plan to have her glass work done by the end of the spring so that we can have her painted and bring her home. Then another phase begins !!
