primer on transom and starboard corner

i love this pic i see so much progress here....Mrs McCorkle
Sanded epoxy with 120 grit on a 5 inch soft pad. I am using Alexseal painting systems for this project. This is 2 coats of grey primer rolled not sprayed.I wanted to see how well the primer covered in order to determine how much fairing needs to be done. Will fair rest of starboard side before any more priming.   I am happy with the coverage and finally getting some satisfaction of some head way.

second coat of fairing starboard side

after sanding starboard side with 80 grit on a 8 inch soft pad i skimmed entire side with microballon epoxy mixture. Ready to be sanded again and hopefully primed. Needless to say my elbows and shoulders are feeling it this week!

Buddy Harris Renovation

The love of boats the clear meaning of BOAT is ( bust out another thousand) but here we go again with a new project. I must say at first i really hesitated on this project but as we spoke about it more we decide it would be a great project of bring this Carolina beauty back to life. She has had an amazing life so far and has been an real fish raiser and has won many tournaments here in the Florida Keys. Her former name was the Class Action and her new name as her transformation occurs will be the Eye Candy......
The photo's are of the first phase of the renovation approx 4000 lb was removed form the vessel, i want start with a clean slate and as you can see she looks like Noah's Ark!
